Mumbai – The Mumbai Taximen’s Union, in a letter written to the Transport Department, has sought permission to travel beyond city limits so they can be in the competition with app-based companies like Ola and Uber. There seems to be the cold war going on between the Kali-pili taxis in the city and the app-based taxi services. The services provided by app-based taxis are garnering huge popularity due to their various facilities.
