Considering the demand of passengers, Thane Municipal Transport Department has started a bus service from Bajiprabhu Chowk to Diva East Railway Station in Dombivli. This bus will travel via Agasan. Since private buses and rickshaws charge more to reach Diva, this bus is getting a good response from the passengers due to its reasonable fares.
This bus is planned to have four trips in the morning till 12 noon and four trips between 4:00 pm and 10:00 pm. The area of Diva has been urbanised to a large extent in the past few years and there is a large number of middle class citizens in this area. These citizens come in large numbers to Dombivli for work in Dombivli MIDC, Residential Department, Private Establishments, Government Hospitals. These residents have to pay a fare of INR 15 to INR 20 to reach Diva station by rickshaw.

Passengers have to spend the same amount for the fare to come back to Dombivli from the railway station to their desired destination. As it is not possible to spend such an amount every day, the passengers of this area had demanded to the Thane Transport Department that the Diva to Dombivli bus should be started. Considering the demand of passengers, Thane Transport Department has decided to start bus service from Bajiprabhu Chowk in Dombivli East Railway Station area to Diva East Railway Station.
