Goregaon- Despite the warning, Goregaon residents cross rail tracks and have lost their lives. Goregaon east commuters cross rail tracks to reach platform no. 4 instead of walking on station road. “There is always rush on the station road and so we take up this route”, said commuter Rakesh Kadam. Sttaion master Dinesh Chorge said that lot of people has lost their lives while crossing tracks, but that has not stopped the commuters. “5-6 people die on a daily basis while crossing this track. There is a gate which is only meant for employees but we open it on commuters demand. Commuters don’t listen to us despite warning them”, said Rakesh Kadam.
