Dahisar - Post demonetisation, a decision was taken by the government to give toll amnesty across the nation. Subsequently, this decision was given an extension too. However, the toll restarted from the midnight of 2nd December and that has again caused traffic snarls at the toll plazas.
A large number of vehicles were witnessed on Dahisar toll plaza on Saturday morning. There were angry exchanges between toll plaza workers and vehicle owners as exchanging a note like Rs 2000 at the plaza was creating trouble. As per the motorists, toll should not be charged until the demonetisation woes are over.
