CR to carry Traffic & Power Block from Sept 6–9 for Karjat Yard Work; Suburban Train Services Affected

Central Railway has announced traffic and power blocks between Karjat and Nagnath Cabin from September 6 to 9, 2025. These blocks are needed for important engineering and overhead wire (OHE) work as part of the Karjat Yard modification project.

Block Timings:

• September 6 (Saturday) - 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM

• September 7, 8, and 9 (Sunday to Tuesday) - 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM

There will be changes in the timings of few local trains, some will be cancelled while some will be short-terminated 

September 6 (Saturday):

• Karjat–Khopoli local at 3:39 PM will be cancelled

• Khopoli–Karjat local at 2:55 PM will be cancelled

September 7 to 9 (Sunday to Tuesday):

• The CSMT–Khopoli train leaving at 12:20 PM will be short-terminated at Karjat (it will not go to Khopoli)

• The Khopoli–CSMT train scheduled at 4:30 PM will be short-originated from Karjat at 4:57 PM (it will not start from Khopoli)

What Passengers Should Know:

• Local trains between Karjat and Khopoli will be affected during these times

• Some trains will start later or end earlier than usual

• Passengers are advised to check train schedules in advance and plan accordingly

The railway authorities regret the inconvenience and have requested cooperation from passengers during this essential upgrade work.
