Ganpati Festival has started from past Monday. The festival ends on 16th september, but the preparation for bandobast by Traffic Police has already started, keeping in mind the huge no. of devotees who turn up for Ganpati's visarjan ceremony. Girgaun Chowpaty is reserved for Ganpati Mandals. Ganesha's procession will never go silent :- the masti, the roar of dhol & tasha, the madness of devotees and what not. Police will keep a surveillance of the activities with the help of drone. Dr. Bhadakmakar Marg, J. Shankarseth Road, Nana Chowk, V.P. Road. are the probable routes, mandals will take to reach Girgaun Chowpaty, so the security has been increased.
