Who would have imagined that commuters could travel in the Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) bus in Mumbai for a mere INR 1. Well, one's wildest dreams have reportedly come true. Travellers can now avail of this service through the Chalo App. The app facilitates ticket booking, pass booking, tracking the live location of the BEST bus in Mumbai. The app was unveiled by BEST to facilitate seamless travel.
According to reports, in the new drive, the BEST has now commenced the "Super Save Scheme". This will enable travellers to save money by using the app. Under this, BEST has now started the Super Saver scheme. According to the new plan of this app, Mumbaikars can travel by a BEST bus for just INR 1.
Based on accounts, with this Super Saver offer, commuters will have to pay only INR 1 for 7 days, in 5 rounds of the bus journey. This offer is available for a limited time only. Thus for instance, if travellers start this service on Sunday 24th July by paying INR 1 then they can avail 5 bus trips free of cost till 30th July.
It has been reported that travellers can activate this ticket while travelling on the bus. All they need to do is to inform the concerned conductor about the landing point, after scanning one will see the e-ticket on their mobile screen. Only passengers using the Chalo app can avail this scheme.
