Discovery Nights is here with another BRAND new line-up of some fresh and talented indie acts for its 9th edition!
About the line-up:
1. Chembo
Chembo is a four piece Indie-rock band from Mumbai. They have been pumping out new music lately that are inspired by artists like The cure, Radiohead, Tame impala, the Smith's, Beck etc.They are currently in process of recording their own songs at their home studio.
2. Fairy & Jazz
Neerad and Devashri started playing together in a college Band 3 years ago. Recently, they started a duo project 'Fairy&Jazz' where they do jazz / unplugged versions of old bollywood as well as new bollywood songs. They've performed at venues like NSCI, White Owl, Anti-Social, The Habitat, Cuckoo Club etc.
3. Gupt ft. Stringtronika ( Electro Classical )
4. Nestor Countinho (Folk Singer)
Nestor is a passionate singer/songwriter from the city of seven islands - Mumbai/Bombay. Nestor is also the lyricist and composer of the Mumbai-based band Grey Area, and has performed with the band at several venues across Mumbai including the likes of Blue Frog, Hard Rock Cafe, the Irish House, the Times Bandra Fest, 2015, the Prithvi Festival, Harry's Andheri and Juhu etc.
