Presence of corporate offices and Schools make Malad the busiest area. However, there is no proper transport arrangement for public and they rely on rickshaw. Being the only source of transport available, they dominate people by demanding excessive fare. Seeing this harassment of residents, Mumbai Congress’s Chief Secretary Vinod Gholap demanded to start bus service form Malad Link road to Malad Railway station. He has written letter to Mayor and BEST Samiti for the same.
