Having gained recognition for uplifting international dance forms in its true essence, VR DanceSport yet again brings to the country 'The 3rd India Open Latin Ballroom DanceSport Championship' that will be held on January 28, 2019 at NCPA.
Incepted by Director-VR DanceSport- Rajeswari Vaidyanathan, this event is the only dance championship in India that showcases over 300 competitors and dance athletes. Herein, national and international dance professionals, seniors and amateurs will display their skills in dance forms such as Cha Cha, Jive, Rumba, Samba, Waltz, Salsa, Bachata, Viennese Waltz and Argentine Tango. These participants belong from all age groups and will travel across from Mumbai, Pune, Goa, Chennai and Bangalore.
The competitive championship looks forward to conducting special solo championships and host an energetic evening that will witness both Qualifying and Final rounds In addition, this year the commended event has curated an 'All Women Judging Panel' with modern women of today who have made a mark in their respective fields.
The panel includes: Sneha Kapoor -the Indian Salsa Princess, Megha Khatri- Rock and Roll and Salsa dancer, Tanushree Rakshit, founder of Flames Dance School (leading dance academy in Pune) and Rajeswari herself.
