Akshay Kumar's career is on a high, and the actor is thrilled to deliver diverse roles, one again, this year and in 2021. As per recent announcement, he was roped in to play the lead of a film titled 'Bell Bottom', and the makers have decided to the release now on April 2, 2021. The film was expected to release on January 21, 2021, but the decision to change the release date has been taken since the postpone of Akshay other upcoming film, Bachchan Pandey, which was planned for December this year, but will now release on January 21, 2021.
Sharing the news, Akshay took to Instagram with a message that read, "I know there are enough memes out there about me clashing with myself one day but 22nd January 2021 is not that day. #BellBottom will now release on 2nd April, 2021."
Earlier on Monday, Akshay and producer Sajid Nadiadwala also announced that they decided to postpone Bachchan Pandey on Aamir Khan's request as his Laal Singh Chaddha was planned for the same week and he was keen on getting a solo release. Aamir Khan, in return, thanked Akshay for considering the same.
