Bollywood actor Aditya Seal's father, Ravi Seal, passed away on September 18, 2020, due to coronavirus (COVID19) infection. His father was a producer in the industry and was admitted at the hospital after he tested positive on September 6, 2020.

He passed away on in Mumbai on Friday, after a few days of hospitalisation, and his final rights were performed in the city, in the presence of the actor, and all safety procedures were followed, as per the guidelines issued for COVID19 patients.

In a conversation with TOI, Aditya's friend confirmed the same and said that his father was admitted to a nursing home after he tested positive for coronavirus, but was later shifted to a COVID19 facility in Andheri. However, he passed away on Friday morning (September 18), and the family is devastated with the loss. All the rights and formalities have been completed, and Aditya is home taking care of everyone.

Aditya was close to his father and expressed his feelings and respect during the release of Student of the Year. His father had also performed him some Garhwali films and was proud of his Aditya's achievements, both on the personal and professional front.

Despite his father's health condition, Aditya was committed to his work and finished his commitments in the last few weeks. He was last seen one of the shorts of ZEE5's film Forbidden Love and will be a part of Indoo Ki Jawaani opposite Kiara Advani.
