It is the season of sequels and now the makers of the movie Go Goa Gone have announced that they will be coming out with the second installemnt of this film in March 2021. 

For those unaware, Go Goa Gone was a movie that released in 2013. It is a zombie apocalypse action comedy film that was directed by Raj and D.K. and stars Saif Ali Khan, Kunal Kemmu, Vir Das, Puja Gupta and Anand Tiwari.  The song "Bloody Monday" from the movie had become quite a rage.

The annoucment was made by official account of Maddock Films. It reads: "One can try, but never really escape this trip! Prepare yourself for the craziest sequel of the best "zom-com" as 'Go Goa Gone 2' releases in March 2021!"

To this, Dinesh Vijan, Founder of Maddock Films added, "It's been quite a journey from 2013, and I'm so excited we're back again with this crazy ride! 'Go Goa Gone' redefined many things, and we are gunning to do that again. The characters have stayed with us all this while and we are thrilled to bring them back to life!"

Sunil Lulla, Managing Director, Eros International Media Ltd said: "'Go Goa Gone was a very special film, and one that has immense recall. It's attained a cult status thus making it great for a franchise".

The makers are currently giving finishing touches to the final draft and said they will be ready to go on floors by September 2020. The other details regarding the cast and the concept line are still under wraps.
