The much-awaited trailer of the movie Sooryavanshi has been released by the makers today. Even though the trailer was leaked before being officially launched, there was a lot of buzz about the same.

As expected this five minutes and eight-seconds trailer packs in a lot of punch. We get a fair insight of how the storyline will progress. Akshay Kumar has a spectacular entry scene and his much-talked-about aerial stunt to can be seen in this trailer.

In this movie we see Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh and Ajay Devgn coming together to save Mumbai from a mother of all terror attacks. Apart from the high octane action sequences, cars flying and of course, bombs going off, we also get to see some shades of drama, emotion and humour in this trailer.

The trailer introduces Akshay into Rohit Shetty's ‘desi' cop universe. In the movie we will see Akshay dawn on the avatar of ATS officer Veer Sooryavanshi. He is on a lookout for terrorists planning a deadly strike in Mumbai. He is joined by Ajay and Ranveer, who reprise their roles of Singham and Simmba to help Akshay bust the terror plot.

Some scenes in the trailer show Akshay's character speaking against discrimination of Muslims in India, hinting that the action-packed movies come with a message.

"Mumbai police passport pe religion dekh kar goli nahi chalati, criminal record dekh kar thokti hai (Mumbai police do not open fire after checking religion on a passport, they shoot when they spot a criminal)," Akshay utters in one scene.

Actress Katrina Kaif will be seen as Veer Sooryavanshi's wife while Jackie Shroff plays the antagonist.

At the trailer launch event Akshay made a stylish entry on a racing bike while Rohit Shetty came in a yellow sports car. Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty were both seen wearing the T-shirt that had the punch line of the movie – “Aa Rahi hai Police”.

"Sooryavanshi" also features Gulshan Grover, Abhimanyu Singh, Niharica Raizada, Sikandar Kher and Nikitin Dheer. The film is presented by Reliance Entertainment, and produced by Rohit Shetty, Karan Johar and Cape of Good Films, and is scheduled to hit the theatres on March 24.
