When one thinks about Disha Patani, one thinks of her as a style diva, fitness enthusiast and ‘even as a great dancer but people don’t have much to say about her dancing skills. However, that is going to change with Malang or so thinks director Mohit Suri.
In a recent interview, he has been quoted saying, “The whole world feels that Disha is just a pretty face and a hot body. She has something more in her. She’s got head and heart too.”
He goes on to add that, “Disha is a strong and fearless girl. So, she comprehended the character’s qualities very smoothly. Her character, Sara’s a free-spirited, wild-soul who lives life on her own terms and Disha suited this character the best”.
Talking more about the role in the movie, Mohit shares, “There is a perfect blend of glam quotient and bohemian vibe surrounding the character, both qualities which I could imagine Disha to complement effortlessly. The response to Disha’s role has been great so far. I’m sure the audience will be able to connect with her even more after watching Malang.”
The trailer of the movie Malang was dropped earlier in the month and it looks like an intriguing movie where every character will have an important role to play. Disha Patani’s baywatch moment and the end scene have been the talk of the town. The movie releases on February 7 and it is only then we will be able to know if she is able to do full justice to the role.
Later in year, we will also see Disha Patani in Radhe that stars Randeep Hooda and Salman Khan. She is also working on Ekta Kapoor’s next that is titled KTina.
