While the battle in 2014 was about good vs the evil, in 2020 it is going to be bad vs badder. At least that is what Mohit Suri has in mind. In the year 2014 he had delivered a hit in the firm of Ek Villan which featured Sidharth Malhotra, Shraddha Kapoor and Ritesh Deshmukh in the lead roles.
Now he is planning to come with a sequel of the movie and it stars Aditya Roy Kapoor, DIsha Patani, John Abraham and Tara Sutaria. Mohit took to his Instagram to share this insight about the film. He posted a picture of yellow followers with V2 logo in the middle. He captioned the post as, “Let the fight begin !! Bad v/s badder …”
Disha Patani and Aditya Roy Kapoor had recently seen together in the movie Malang, which was directed by Mohit Suri too. This movie managed to garner INR 50 crores at the Indian box office. People liked the songs in the movie and also the chemistry between the lead duo.
Music is one of the strong points for any Mohit Suri movie and that was also true for Ek Villian. Now with Ek Villan to the challenge would not just be to take the story to the next level but also the music to the whole new level. There is no word on who will be the music director for this project or when the makers will start rolling with the movie.
Ek Villain 2 is produced by Balaji Motion Pictures and is expected to hit the screens on January 8, 2021.
