As an artist, you have to be very careful with what you choose: Mohit Madaan

Mohit Madaan’s stint in Aksar 2 was very much cherished as Bachchan Singh. The star is currently working on his next film Ishq Tera where he is playing the male lead opposite Hrishita Bhatt after which there is a comedy film and a romantic thriller lined up.

In an exclusive interaction with Mumbai Live the handsome hunk of Bollywood Mohit Madaan who has been receiving endless appreciation for his recent release, Aksar2, spoke to us about the film, his acting inspiration and much more.

“I was called for a meeting, mughe laga tha ki koi normal meet up hoga so was not much prepared. When I reached the decided place I saw director Ananth Mahadevan was sitting and he was there to discuss Aksar 2 with me. At first, I was reluctant about the character but then after a week I thought that the role is challenging, he is the mastermind of the plot and therefore decided to give it a shot”, said Mohit while conversing about Aksar2.

After the movie released Madaan’s stint was cherished as Bachchan Singh, the actor started getting many offers since then. Currently, the star is working on his next film Ishq Tera where he is playing the male lead opposite Hrishita Bhatt after which there is a comedy film and a romantic thriller lined up. In future, he also wants to try his hand at an action film. Mohit said that he likes to keep performing!

When questioned about taking up a television show the actor averred, “I haven’t thought about TV much, whenever I have been offered a television show either I am working busy or have signed some other project. Secondly, I even think that television consumes a lot of time and I value time. I would prefer digital platform over television. I feel, as an artist, you have to be very careful with what you choose.”

The actor aforesaid that his father has been his real-life inspiration, whatever he has achieved till date is because of his father whereas in reel life that is in terms of acting Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan have been his mode of motivation.

Talking about the tussling phase Mohit said that he completely believes in the thought which says, ‘Everything happens for a reason’ elaborating further the performer mentioned, “One has to struggle a lot for work in this industry. It’s a fight, my struggle period is still on. In your struggling phase itself, you need to continue growing and improving your skill set, as time would always be a limitation in our profession. It all depends on each individual’s vision.”
