The set of Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film, Kesari was wrecked as a huge fire broke out which is situated in Wai district of Maharashtra. The film’s unit was shooting the final portion of the film with Akshay Kumar, who had left after completing the shoot for the day. The accident took place just 10 days before the team was about to wrap the film’s schedule after shooting the climax of the film which has the Battle of Saragarhi.

According to sources, the film was in its final stages and they were shooting the battle scene that included bomb explosions in some scenes. Amidst the shoot, one mistimed explosion happened which led to the outbreak of the fire.

There were no casualties but a big part of the set was damaged due to the fire. Shooting has been suspended for a while due to the accident.

Both the lead actors, Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra were not present on the sets during the mishap and none of the cast & crew was harmed by the massive explosion.
