#MeToo movement's storm is just not settling down, each day it is coming up with some shocking news from the industry. The latest one is about the popular Casting director Mukesh Chhabra. Star India has suspended 'Kizzie Aur Manny' director Mukesh Chhabra from the services. Starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjana Singh, the film is currently under production. It is a remake of ‘The Fault in Our Stars’.
A statement issued by Star India read, "As a responsible organisation, Star India takes any allegation of sexual harassment of women at the workplace very seriously. Hence Fox Star Studios has suspended the services of Mukesh Chhabra, director of our film Kizzie Aur Manny, which is under production, till the internal complaints committee of M/s Mukesh Chhabra Casting Company concludes its inquiry into the allegations against him. There are as many as four different incidents reported in the media where allegations have been made against Mukesh Chhabra. In one of them, a budding actor has alleged that he felt her up under the pretext of showing her how a particular scene should be performed during an audition.”
