On Tuesday, May 31, night, India was left shocked and numb, following the demise of Bollywood playback singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, popularly known as KK. The singer reportedly performed at a concert in south Kolkata organized by Gurudas College at Nazrul Mancha on Tuesday evening for nearly an hour.
According to accounts, he, however, complained of feeling heavy after he reached his hotel and then collapsed. Following this, at nearly 10 pm he was taken to a private hospital where he was declared brought dead.
Now, narratives are doing the rounds that a case of unnatural death has been registered against the death of the singer. After the family's consent is attained, an inquest and post-mortem will be undertaken.
Some reports suggest that during the concert KK complained of the heat and was rushed out of the auditorium after the concert.
