Kirti Kulhari to star alongside Parineeti Chopra in 'The Girl on the Train' remake

Directed by Ribhu Das Gupta, the film is an official remake of the Emily Blunt's Hollywood hit with the same title, and the shoot of the this upcoming film began recently.


Actress Kirti Kulhari has been a part of several films this year and has also managed to impress the audience with the roles she has delivered. She was last seen as an airforce pilot in URI: The Surgical Strike

As per reports, the actress has also signed a new film where she will be seen again in a uniform, playing Aaliya Shergill, a Brit cop in the remake of The Girl on the Train. Directed by Ribhu Dasgupta and produced by Reliance Entertainment, the film also stars Parineeti Chopra in the lead role.

Sharing the news, Kirti Kulhari told the media, "It’s a great feeling being directed by Ribhu Dasgupta and it’s my second outing with him after Bard of Blood. We share a great equation and I am looking forward to collaborating on this one now. It is my fourth project with an all-female ensemble cast after Pink, Four More Shots Please and Mission Mangal and I am really enjoying being in this space."

Directed by Ribhu Das Gupta, the shoot of the film began recently and he shared his excitement with a message that read, "Hopping on to a train ride today with Parineeti Chopra."

Kirti Kulhari will also be seen as Neha Siddqui in Fox Star's film Mission Mangal, which also stars Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha, Nithya Menen, and Sharman Joshi. The film will release on August 15, 2019.
