One of the popular actresses today, Kriti Sanon, will soon be seen in a pivotal role in Laxman Utekar's upcoming film 'Mimi.'

Mimi also marks her first woman-centric film. Talking about the same, Kriti said, "I am quite nervous. But nervousness is what is so exciting. The fact that I haven't done something like this before, the fact that it's so away from me and it's got emotions I have never experienced, is what is challenging. But at this point in time, I want to do something different, take a risk and push the envelope. I'm glad that ''Mimi'' is going to be my first female-centric film."

For all the known reasons, Mimi has a special place in Kriti's heart. Sharing a thought on working with Laxman again, she said, "Laxman sir has a knack of understanding emotions and presenting it in an entertaining manner with a lot of situational humour and characters that you take back home."

Kriti has worked with him earlier in Lukka Chuppi, and this will be their second collaboration, where she will be seen as a young surrogate mother. Mimi also features actor Pankaj Tripathi. No further announcements regarding the film have been made.
