Manoj Joshi to play Amit Shah in Narendra Modi Biopic

The film stars Vivek Anand Oberoi in the lead role. Besides Manoj Joshi, other popular actors like Boman Irani, Suresh Oberoi, and Zarina Wahab will also be seen in the film.


The biopic on Prime Minister Narendra Modi is one of the much aniticipated films of the year, where it is being said that the characters playing around him also have a crucial role in the film. Among all the other characters one of the most influential characters is of Mr Amit Shah who shares a special bond with the PM Modi. It is confirmed that actor Manoj Joshi will be playing the role of Mr Amit Shah in the film.

Manoj is one of the most versatile actors and has garnered a lot of appreciation for his work, and the veteran actor has done a lot of research about the character. Other well known faces from the industry like Vivek Anand Oberoi, Boman Irani, Suresh Oberoi, Zarina Wahab, Darshan Kumar and Barkha Bisht have been roped in for the film.

Sharing his experience Mr. Manoj Joshi said, "I am glad that I have got an opportunity to play the role of Mr Amit Shah in the film. When Sandeep Ssingh called me to offer this role, I did not think for a second and said yes. This is going to be one of the interesting characters that I will play."

Producer Sandip Ssingh shares, "This was one of the important roles in the film and I feel nobody better than Manoj Joshi could have done it. He is one of the finest actors and when I called him for the role, he immediately agreed. He is a very passionate actor and he is working really hard for his character. It is a great experience working with him and I hope the audience will like his work as well."

The first look and poster of the film was launched in 23 languages  at an event held in January, and it is being said that the biopic will focus on life of Narendra Damodardas Modi from his beginning years as Chief Minister onto his landmark win at the 2014 election and finally being nominated as the Prime Minister of India.

The film is produced by Sandip Ssingh and Suresh Oberoi, and directed by Omung Kumar.
