After Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon, Rakul Preet Singh has tested positive for coronavirus. On Tuesday, December 22, the actress took to her Instagram to share the news. In a post she says that she is feeling fine and will resume shoot soon.
In her post, Rakul Preet said, "I'd like to inform everyone that I have tested positive for COVID-19. I have quarantined myself. I am feeling fine and will rest up well so that I can be back at shoot soon. Request everyone who met me to kindly get yourself tested. Thank you and please stay safe."
Rakul Preet was shooting for her upcoming movie Mayday, which is a thriller-drama. The movie is produced and directed by Ajay Devgun and also stars Amitabh Bachchan.
Last month, Kriti Sanon had tested positive. Before testing positive, the actress was in Chandigarh for a shoot. Kriti mentioned that she is following the advice of her doctor and reassured to her fans that she is feeling fine.
Taking to her Instagram, Kriti Sanon wrote, “I’d like to inform everyone that I have tested positive for Covid-19. There’s absolutely nothing to worry as I’m feeling fine and have quarantined myself as per BMC and my doctor’s advice. So I’m gonna ride this tide, rest it out and resume work soon. Till then, I’m reading all the warm wishes and they seem to be working. Be safe guys, the pandemic hasn’t gone yet!”
Last month, there were speculations that along with Varun Dhawan and Neetu Kapoor, even Anil Kapoor has tested positive but later it was clarified that this was not true. Only Varun and Neetu have tested positive and Anil Kapoor got himself tested and the report came out negative. The three of them were also in Chandigarh filming the movie Jug Jugg Jeeyo, which is being produced by Dharma Productions.
