Veteran Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor passed away on April 30, 2020, and fans shared their prayers and condolences on social media. In a recently uploaded video from the hospital, he is seen enjoying the song 'Tere Dard Se Dil Abaad Raha' from Deewana, which was sung by his fan. He is also blessing the fan and sharing best wishes.
It is said that this viral hospital video was shot recently when he was admitted for treatment in Mumbai, but there is no confirmation about the same. However, this video is being loved for the message actor shares towards the end, where he said, "Work hard. Money and fame follow only if one works hard. When hard work and a bit of luck is combined, one reaps the benefit. This needs to be kept in mind."
He was battling cancer since 2018 and was admitted at Mumbai's Sir HN Reliance Hospital on April 29, 2020, owing to breathing issues. His brother Randhir Kapoor had informed PTI about this news. Rishi Kapoor was undergoing treatment in the US, in 2018, and returned to Indian in 2019.
Through his work, he has inspired millions of people in the world, and his demise (a day after Irrfan Khan passed away) left the fans in shock. People took to social media to share their prayers and condolences.
