With the instances of coronavirus cases being on a rise, Actor Salman Khan is reportedly providing food packets to the COVID-19 frontline workers in Mumbai during the 15-day Janta curfew.

Last year, in the early months of the lockdown, the actor’s food trucks distributed food packets to the underprivileged on Mumbai roads. This time around, the Being Haangryy trucks started distributing meals among the frontline warriors working in the areas of Juhu and Worli in Mumbai.

Furthermore, the same has been confirmed by Rahul Kanal, the leader of Yuva Sena. Rahul is also helping people together with Salman Khan. Speaking about the same Kanal stated that Salman Khan has expressed his concern about Mumbai Police, BMC and health workers due to which he has taken such an initiative. He further added that a three-week plan has been charted out, with the idea of extending their service to other pockets of Mumbai.

Last year, with the outbreak of the coronavirus and the subsequent lockdown, the actor had provided financial support to 25,000 daily wage workers from the industry hit by the nationwide lockdown. Moreover, he tried to create a space of awareness about the novel coronavirus through Instagram videos and had urged fans to stay home in order to follow the lockdown guidelines issued by the government effectively.

With regards to work, the Salman Khan starrer Radhe is slated to release on May 13 in theatres.
