Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akthar’s ‘The Sky Is Pink’ received a standing ovation at the recently concluded Toronto International Film Festival. The trailer also struck a chord with the audiences and generated a lot of curiosity. The team is leaving no stone unturned to promote the film and the makers have planned a special activity where Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Farhan Akhtar will be meeting their fans.

Taking to social media the artists launched the special activity through a video asking fans to participate

The activity requires each fan to visit SaltScout and will have to contribute INR 100 in support of Ekjut NGO which provides healthcare for underprivileged children. Ekjut in return will use the amount collected to provide healthcare, prevent and treat malnutrition among children – a theme close to the heart of “The Sky is Pink”, which is based on the true story of Aisha Chaudhary and her inspiring struggle to fight the health issues that daunted her since birth.

The activity will have two lucky winners out of which one lucky winner will get to spend an entire promotion day in Mumbai with Priyanka Chopra, while the other will watch the premiere of The Sky is Pink with Farhan Akhtar in Mumbai.

Commenting on the same Ekjut’s Co-Founder, Dr Prasanta Tripathy, explained: “Ekjut is delighted to be part of this innovative initiative to help children in need get the healthcare they deserve. There is a tremendous need to focus more on healthcare services, and we have seen first-hand the exponential benefits to children, their families, and to society, that can be achieved by ensuring children good health. We are grateful for the support of The Sky is Pink team, who have opened their platform to support this important cause.”

One of the most anticipated films of the year, The Sky is Pink has generated a lot of buzz ever since the trailer launch opening up to rave reviews.

Directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Shonali Bose, The Sky is Pink is produced by RSVP and Roy Kapur Films, in association with S K Global and Purple Pebble Pictures.
