There has been a lot of buzz regarding Vidya Balan’s upcoming biopic Shakuntala Devi and today the makers revealed the first look of the actress from the movie. The filming of the movie also starts from today in London.
In the red sari and the hairdo, Vidya looks a replica of the mathematician. If reports are to be believed the Vidya has taken four months in order to get into the skin of the character and familiarise Devi and her craft. For those unaware, Shakuntala Devi was a maths genius and was even referred to as a human-computer. Her brilliance was discovered when she was all of five when she solved a mathematical problem designed for 18-year-old students.

The first teaser of the movie Shakuntala Devi too has been released today. The film is directed by Anu Menon, who has also co-written the screenplay and it is expected to release in the Summer of 2020.

Vidya Ballan is currently riding high on the success of the movie Mission Mangal that also starred Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha, Nithya Menen, Sharman Joshi and Kirti Kulhari.
It is noteworthy that earlier this year, a biopic on Anand Kumar was released that starred Hrithik Roshan. Titled Super 30, the movie had managed to a decent business at the box office.
