One of India’s popular film houses, Abundantia Entertainment, recently announced a film Math Genius, Shakuntala Devi, and Bollywood's popular actress, Vidya Balan will play the lead role in the film.

Helmed by Anu Menon, the film will revolve around the life of Shakuntala Devi, fondly known as the mathematical wizard, or human computer, because of her ability to make incredibly swift calculations. Talking about the same, the excited Vidya Balan said, “I am extremely excited to play the human computer, Shakuntala Devi, on the big screen. Vikram, Anu and I are proud to bring to life the story of one of the most inspiring women of this country.”

Besides this, Anu Menon has also written the story along with Nayanika Mahtani and the dialogue will be penned by Ishita Moitra. The film is scheduled to go on floors, later this year, and is slated to be a summer 2020 release.
