FoodFood and Veeba join hands for Veeba Cook Off; Sanjeev Kapoor to judge

India loves food and when it comes to remembering a name of a mentor who taught us about different types of cuisine, then many of us will first recollect ace chef, Sanjeev Kapoor, the man behind popular cooking show Khaana Khazana.

A few years back, he conceptualised one of the popular food channels in the country, Food Food, where he along with a team of experienced chefs come together to teach everyone, everything regarding the kitchen skills. The channel is known for brand associations and a variety of shows designed with a focus to blend creativity and culinary skills perfectly.

Adding to the list, FoodFood will soon be starting another show 'Veeba Cook Off' in association with popular retail brand Veeba, which specialises in sauces and dips.

'Veeba Cook Off' will be a 30-minute show where contestants will have to beat off their peers I'm an extremely tough competition by sheer creativity, skills and determination thereby pushing their limits.

One winner will be announced every episode, and each episode will feature a new set of young and talented to-be-chefs picked after an intense talent search from India's popular culinary schools.

The show will be judged by Sanjeev Kapoor and will be hosted by Amrita Raichand. Popular celebrities and personalities like Perizaad Zorabian, Sharad Kelkar, Hariharan, Renuka Shahne, and others will be seen along with Sanjeev in different episodes across the season.

Talking about the same, Sanjeev Kapoor said, "The concept of 'Veeba Cook Off' is the first ever in the country and different to that of the other cooking reality shows. The show will be 'of the chefs, for the chefs' which will test the skills, commitment and their ability to cook and innovate the very best food at the highest end of the culinary spectrum in a limited time."

Adding to the same, Viraj Bahl, Founder and Managing Director, Veeba said, "Our strong focus on innovation and our obsession to Being out only the best, led to our partnership with FoodFood to present one of a kind cookery show. We hope this show brings forward the new game changers of the food industry."

Other renowned food retail brands Daawat Basmati Rice and Tata Sampann has partnered with the show along with Veeba and FoodFood. The series will premiere on January 26 and will air at 2:30 PM and 8:00 PM.
