Mumbai - The demonetisation of 1000 and 500 rupees currency has taken a toll on every citizen nationwide. Government has extended the concessions, Rs 500, Rs 1,000 notes will be valid till 14 November. People can pay their household bills, electricity bills, fuel, taxes, etc. The official said while the old notes were allowed to be accepted for highway toll payment, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has freed national highways of any toll charges till November 14. By Friday afternoon, BMC has amassed 1 crore, 97 lakh rupees in their vault.
