Fitness and Gym chain, Talwalkars Better Value Fitness Limited (better known as ‘Talkwalkars’) have decided to dip their feet in international waters. In collaboration with US-based Snap Fitness Inc, they are planning to expand in Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
Talkwars is quite a successful chain in India with over 211 locations in 85 towns and cities across the country.
Through Snap Fitness’ Singapore subsidiary, Talwalkars will be the exclusive master franchise for the US-based company in those countries.
Talkwalkars has consolidated its position in the Indian and Sri Lankan market under brands like Talwalkars, Talwalkars Hi Fi, Inshape, and Power World Gyms in the gym space and Zorba for its Yoga activity.

Snap Fitness is a privately owned and operated health and fitness club founded in 2003 by Peter Taunton and is headquartered in Chanhassen, Minnesota. In 2008, the company was ranked in Entrepreneurs magazine's Franchise 500. They are spread over 2500 locations in 24 countries.
