According to sources, due to a fire in Bhiwandi, 15 scrap godowns were reportedly burnt to ashes.

In recent developments, last night, a massive fire broke out at a scrap godown in the Avchit Pada area of Bhivandi.

According to sources, in this fire, 15 scrap godowns were reportedly burnt to ashes. The warehouses contained cloth, rags, cardboard, plastic, linen, POP and other scrap materials. Fortunately, no one was killed in the blaze.

Meanwhile, the cause of the fire is yet to be known. However, upon receiving the information about the said fire, three vehicles of the fire brigade reached the spot. Moreover, these scrap warehouses are surrounded by residential houses and spinning mills, therefore, the smoke reportedly said to have irritated the citizens living in the area.

On the other hand, on Friday, June 4, a level 2 fire broke out at a building in Mumbai's Oshiwara area in the morning. The incident was reported at 7.57 am on Friday, June 4 from the building on the 1st floor (G+ 6) at Aashiyana Building, opposite Sunni Muslim Kabrastan on Oshiwara Relief Road. No casualties have been reported so far.

However, the reason behind the fire is not yet known. Meanwhile, eight fire engines and eight jumbo tankers are present on the spot for the fire extinguishing operation. Furthermore, visuals from the incident showed massive plumes of smoke rising from the building.
