Mumbai Local News: 3 Additional Trains To Run For Tata Marathon 2024

The Western Railway (WR) on Wednesday, January 17, announced to run additional Mumbai local trains for the convenience of people, who are participating for Tata Marathon 2024.

In a statement, the WR said, “For the convenience of participants attending the Tata Mumbai Marathon 2024 to be held on Sunday, January 21, 2024, Western Railway will run three additional special slow Mumbai Local Trains in the early morning from Virar to Churchgate, Borivali to Churchgate and Churchgate to Bandra.”

Here are the timings of local train:

• First special train service will start from Virar at 2:15 am
• The special train from Borivali will start at 3:05 am
• The third special train will depart from Churchgate at 3 am

All these trains will a run as slow local trains and would halt at all stations on the line, official said.

This development came a day after the announcement was made at a meeting held on January 16 at marathon’s press centre in SoBo that the 19th edition of the Tata Mumbai Marathon 2024 will be held in the city.

It has seen 267 NGOs collectively raising a record-breaking INR 58 crore for different causes.
