Mumbai- It seems BMC is clearing out the projects prior to BMC elections. On Wednesday, at standing committee meeting, 97 projects worth Rs. 1.5 crores were passed in mere 90 minutes. Along with it, new 27 projects were approved in other 10 minutes. Though standing committee chairman Yashodhar Phanse criticized BJP for bringing in several projects on table before BMC elections, still the same committee approved 97 projects. Usually, opposition party leaders who object on all projects, did not take objection on Wednesday and all projects were approved in no time.
