Despite the safety instructions, commuters travelling in local trains, put their lives at risk by crossing railway tracks, sitting on the top of the train or board a running train. Such stunts have killed many commuters yet, people continue doing the same. One such incident took place in Thane where a man lost his life when he was hit by a train while crossing railway tracks.
It was due to unfortunate case of tresspasser run over (TPRO) on Thane UP local line at around 7 am for which the train was detained till 7.15 and then gradually the bunching was also cleared. We repeatedly request commuters not to risk life. Please use foot over bridges (FOBs).
