The coast of Maharashtra, especially the northern part of the coast, will be rough for the next 24 hours due to which fishermen have been advised not to go to sea. Moreover, those who are at sea have been advised to come ashore immediately.

Furthermore, temporary shelters have already been set up for those living near low-lying, coastal areas in case they need to relocate. The Emergency Management Department is also coordinating with the Navy, Coast Guard, Army and National Disaster Response Team to provide assistance as required.
