The Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) will not receive water from the STEM Authority from Friday, May 2, 2025, at 9:00 am to Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 9:00 am.
To manage this, the TMC has planned to continue water supply in a staggered manner instead of a complete 24-hour shutdown. Water will be provided once a day in different areas as per the schedule.
On Friday, May 2, from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, the water supply will be shut in the following areas: Ghodbunder Road, Patlipada, Balkum, Brahmand, Pawar Nagar, Kothari Compound, Dongripada, and Waghbil.
Then, from Friday night, May 2 at 9:00 pm to Saturday morning, May 3 at 9:00 am, the water supply will be shut in these areas: Samata Nagar, Rutu Park, Siddheshwar, Eternity, Johnson, Jail, Saket, Uthalsar, Retibunder, Kalwa, and some parts of Mumbra.

During the shutdown, the STEM Authority will carry out routine maintenance and repair work, as well as install a water meter at Chene. After the water supply resumes, pressure may be low for 1 to 2 days. Residents are kindly requested to use water carefully and cooperate during this period.
