Mumbai - Visits to the Regional Transport Authority (RTO) usually spells pesky agents, soul corroding corruption, inertia and official inefficiency. But this picture is poised to change forever, soon. The RTO is going cashless and 50 RTOs will be inter-connected with the help of the National Information Center. This will help the common man as his troubles in visiting the RTO physically will soon be over.
Once in motion, this decision will bring about these changes -
- RTO will be cashless
- No need to visit RTO frequently
- Apply on the net and relax
- No waste of time, no bickering with agents
Barring a few activities like car test and license test, you won't need to visit an RTO personally. So it is 'good bye agents' now. Though the agents are crying foul, citizens have welcomed this move and Mumbaikars are eagerly waiting for the implementation of this decision.
