The roads which went in the fix due to heavy monsoon will be repaired. BMC has taken the decision of repairing dilapidated roads in standing committee’s meeting on Wednesday. BMC has proposed a budget of Rs 400 crore. The road is teeming with potholes causing trouble for commuters. BMC Commissioner Ajoy Mehta has ordered repair work of 459 roads in the initial phase.
BJP leader Rajeshri Shirwadkar and Shiv Sena leader Mangesh Satamkar questioned administration regarding the decision to which Chief Engineer Sanjay Darade stated that tenure for the repairmen has not decided yet.While corporators think that only dilapidated roads are included in the plan.
