Chembur - 26july 2005 mumbai deluge still send shivers down our spine...To avoid such calamity in future Bmc had started laying underground pipelines at many spots in Mumbai..The same work is in progress on R.C road Chembur .but at snails speed,which is causing traffic snarl in that area..At some spots the pavements are obstructed bythe contractor.and as a result pedestrians are suffering a lot ..Since day by day the traffic jams are getting longer.the residents are demanding that Bmc finishes this pending project at the earliest
