    To make Mumbai a clean city, BMC has bought 25 mobile toilets. The total expenditures for this project was 1 crore 8 lakh.

    A total of 618 public toilets were constructed for the 618 slums under the Swachh Bharat Program in Mumbai.

    MHADA constructed 5371 toilets. BMC has purchased 25 mobile toilets for the areas where BMC has not constructed mobile public toilets.

    Last year BMC commissioner, Ajoy Mehta has assured to the installation of a mobile public toilet at Juhu beach after former CM Narayan Rane ordered him. Mehta also said that the places where public toilets can not be constructed there they will install public toilets.
