The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) razed 'Cafe Sea-face' restaurant at Worli which was running since 2007 and after 11 years, the BMC razed the outlet.




Cafe Sea-Face, situated at Worli’s Khan Abdul Gaffar Marg, was built over 2000 sq feet area in 2007. The action was taken after the Bombay High Court dismissed the stay order. The demolition was done with the help of Mumbai police, said assistant commissioner Devendrakumar Jain of G/South Ward.




The demolition was carried out under the guidance of deputy police commissioner of Zone-2 Narendra Ramkrishna Barde, seven police constables, 40 BMC workers and one JCB machine.
