The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has decided to upload a daily availability list of vaccination centres across multiple social media sites.

This development comes as many private and civic-run vaccination centres remain shut as they have run out of their vaccine stocks. Meanwhile, the Centre has announced to resume the third phase of the vaccination for people between the age group of 18 and 44 years from May 1. The Maharashtra government, however, clarified that the third phase drive can not be launched in the state from May 1 as the state does not have sufficient doses of vaccines.

The civic body has shared a list showing government, private, and Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) vaccination centres that will be operational on Thursday, April 29. The BMC also shared the number of Covishield and Covaxin vaccines available at the centres. Moreover, the BMC has also released a list of vaccination centres being shut due to shortage.
