The election process for Borivali Advocate Bar Association (BABA) concluded on Tuesday. Of the total 2,018 members, the BABA elections registered 851 votes. This happened due to the policy – One Bar, One Vote – where a member could only vote once for a bar despite his/her alliance with other bar associations.

Rajesh More was once again elected as the President of the Borivali Advocate Bar Association while R.B. Yadav was chosen as the Vice President. The election results declared M.K. Giri as the Secretary while Manoj Dubey became the Joint Secretary of the Association. The committee members elected are Sandeep Prajapati, Bhalrao, Kanchan Chandak, Siddhesh Chogle, and Ranjit Jain.

Last year, BABA elections registered 1,130 voters. The election process started at 8:00 in the morning on Tuesday and was carried out till 6:00 in the evening. It was mandatory for every member to have their identity card in order to participate in the voting process.
