After the recent clashes between lawyers and police at Delhi’s Tis Hazari court complex, Borivali Advocate Bar Association (BABA) has decided that all lawyers on November 6 at Borivali court will wear a red band on their hand to peacefully register their protest.

In Delhi, the lawyers have declared strike after clashes with the police over parking issues. The clashes turned violent due to which 50 people were injured and vehicles were vandalised and set on fire.

On Saturday, the clashes between police and lawyers at Tis Hazari court complex took a violent turn where nearly 50 people were injured and two lawyers had bullet wounds.

Along with this, a police vehicle was set ablaze and eight jails vans were vandalised while a few journalists who were covering the clashes were also allegedly assaulted.

As this happened, the Delhi High Court ordered a judicial enquiry and former Delhi HC judge, Justice SP Garg, will investigate the case. The report will have to be completed and submitted within six weeks.
