After the Veermata Jijabai Bhosale Udyan and Zoo benefited from bringing the penguins, the Jijamata Udyan administration - formerly known as Rani Baug – has decided to get black deer, Lion, Tiger, Jackal, Wolves, Hyena, and Barasingha to increase more revenue from the tourists. 

On the occasion of 70th Republic Day and January 27, the cumulative revenue of the zoo was more than ₹10 lakh. The zoo earned ₹5.50 lakh on Jan 26 and ₹5 lakh. More than 15,000 people visit the zoo on weekdays and 30,000 people visit the zoo on weekends.

In Jijamata Udyan and Zoo, the visitor will have to pay ₹100 to watch the Penguins. From April 2018, the total revenue by the zoo is about ₹7 crore.
