Gyms and fitness centres to reopen from Oct 25

The coronavirus pandemic had forced the entire country to go into lockdown and Maharashtra was no different. Now with things slowly getting back to normal, things are being opened in a staggered manner. While temples and local trains (for the general public) remain, shut, Maharashtra government has announced that gyms and fitness centres will be allowed to open from Dushera, which is on October 25. 

While announcing that gyms and fitness centres can open, CM Uddhav Thackeray also mentioned that they will have to strictly follow the Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) laid by the government in this regards. 

Furthermore, activities like steam bath, sauna, Zumba and Yoga, which either involve group activities or water will remain suspended.
