For the past two days, Mumbai has been witnessing heavy pre-monsoon rains which disrupted flight and local train operations. However, the worst is yet to come, warned private weather forecasting agency Skymet Weather.
Skymet has warned that Mumbai could witness more rains between June 6 and June 12 which will be worst since June 26, 2005. On this day, Mumbai had recorded 900mm in a day.

Skymet Weather founder and CEO Jatin Singh tweeted with more information on the monsoons adding that it might rain heavily on June 08, June 09 and June 10. He added that people should stay indoors and should only go out in case of emergency.
Meanwhile, Ajay Kumar, director of the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has speculated that Goa and Mumbai will witness heavy rainfall between June 6, 2018, and June 8, 2018. According to the IMD officials, Kerala, Karnataka and Konkan too will witness heavy rainfall.
