A bridge at Grant Road has developed cracks due to which, Mumbai Police has diverted the traffic to Nana Chowk towards Kennedy bridge. Along with this, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) officials have reached the spot and inspection has begun. Mumbai Police tweeted about the same.

The bridge which connects Grant Road and Nana Chowk will remain closed for vehicles. The traffic has been diverted to Kennedy bridge.

On July 3, 2018, around 7:30 am, a part of Gokhale bridge collapsed on the railway tracks between Andheri and Vile Parle. Six people were injured and one is reported to be in critical condition.
